Can't wait for the album and videoclip recording. Wanna find a friend to my luvly Chibi Nigery, another dwarf rabbit, a white one *0* ! Got my perfecto and new soundcard, luv'em. Got a new job for rock à gogo, french rockshop. Began a new song who could be really interesting on the album for its concept ha ha * mysteries mysteries * ! Wanna get on stage back again. Wanna drink.. neither alcohol nor water.. somethin'.. better :) Wanna more clients. Wanna so much things.. but it's the way of being a humain, ever lookin for things we don't or can not have, isn't it ? :) As William Blake in "Dead Man", I'd like to write my poetry into blood =D * evil b-movie-like laugh * I'm reading BLEACH, great manga, thanks to my lil' bro to made me discover it ! Watched Predictions too this week, with N. Cage.. Well, not bad, but I've been disapointed a bit by this everlasting need to make a big speech on religion in american movies of the moment.. It's ever the same.. Anyway, the end is great. Not a perfect happy end even if it's not a bad one too. :) Watched a lot of movies in fact this week XD The Gene Generation (cyberpunk movie, 2007. Bai Ling is beautiful, the story is not amazing, the athmosphere not too deep, but it's ok. Great visuals), Near Dark (vampire movie, 1987, great even if the cure of vampiric syndrom is a bit easy =D a cool romantic vampire story from 80s ha ha), Underworld III (coolest episode from the actual trilogy. I found characters really impressive and the story is good !!! A big point for this one, cuz the first was good but not wonderful, and the second was quite bad excepted for the look and fx). DRAGONBALL EVOLUTION : A MOVIE TO WATCH ... BEING DRUNK -____-
I've been watchin Dragonball.. What a shitty movie ! ha ha fortunatelly I was with my close friend this friday night, XXVII, and we got a lot of vodka in our veins... Cuz clean, we'd never have fun -___- I'm a huge fan of Akira Toriyama since I was a child, reading his books (novels, dragon ball, etc..) but from the manga, only the name is the same in this movie. Well, some fx are not so bad for the mythic kamehameha, but that's all. A stupid american production which can only disapoint Dragonball fans !

ENGLISH TRANSLATION: BOOST !. I spent two days in Lyon for a professionnal date.. Something great even if I don't know the issue, considering the fact that since the day I finished my studies I had to find my clients myself, because of the economic crisis, and it's hard to live with only money gained with musician and shops stuffs I do (cuz they have not a lot of money even if it's sure I prefer to work for them cuz the creativity needed is more exciting !). Well, it was fun to get dressed back in a more handsome style :) "Milano" shirts and jackets, my levis jeans, and air force nike black one in leather. Hotel, food, train, everything paid by the agency who asked me to come here to speak with their client.. There was another graphic designer, but she has been worked for 10 years in that domain. However, the date was good, I've been worked all sunday on my new portfolio (you can watch it by clicking on the "General view" part of my professionnal website ;D) and that my speech wasn't bad at all (I love to speak with people and clients, learning to discover their world, the technical terms belonging to it, targetting their needs, weaknesses, things to improve in their communication / visual identity etc..). A good boost for me then cuz it was sometimes hard to keep head out of watter those last weeks.. Well, a thing to remember : be careful of food when everything is paid cuz you're tempted to discover new things, and GET WEIGHT !!! xD (meow.. wok for lunch, italian restaurant with 4 cheeses gnocchis for diner, gosh... gonna be Simplyf4t ! :P)
UN SÉRIEUX COUP DE FOUET !
J'ai passé deux jours à Lyon pour un rendez-vous professionnel.. Quelque chose de positif dans l'ensemble même si je ne connais pas l'issue de mon entretien, surtout lorsqu'on considère le fait que depuis le jour où j'ai fini mes études, j'ai dû trouver mes clients tout seul, à cause de la crise économique, et il est bien dur de subvenir à ses besoin en ne travaillant qu'avec des shops ou musiciens (même s'il est clair que je préfère travailler pour eux car la créativité alors demandée est beaucoup plus entousiasmante !). Bref, il était amusant de me réhabiller dans un style plus élégant :) Chemises et vestes italiennes "Milano", levis 501, une paire d'air force 1 de Nike en cuir noir. Hotel, repas, train, tout pris en charge par l'agence qui a fait appel à mes services afin de rencontrer leur client.. Il y avait une autre graphiste, qui avait 10 ans d'expérience dans notre domaine. Cependant l'entretien s'est bien passé, j'avais travaillé tout dimanche sur une nouvelle version de mon portfolio (que vous pouvez d'ores et déjà consulter sur la partie "Vue globale" de mon site professionnel ;D) et je me suis plutôt pas mal débrouillé quant à l'oral (il faut dire que j'adore parler avec les gens et mes clients, apprendre à découvrir leur monde, les termes techniques qui lui sont liés, cibler leurs besoins, faiblesses, choses à améliorer dans leur communication ou leur identité visuelle, etc..) Un bon coup de fois donc pour moi qui avait quelquefois du mal à garder la tête hors de l'eau ces dernières semaines.. Enfin pour terminer, une chose à savoir : attention à la nourriture lorsque tout votre séjour est pris en charge, car vous êtes tentés de découvrir de nouvelles choses et... PRENDRE DU POIDS !!! xD (meow.. wok pour déjeuner, restaurant italien avec gnocchis 4 fromages pour dîner, gosh.. je vais devenir Simplyf4t ! :P)

Trente personnes ont été sélectionnées parmi les 80 participants environ. Une chose est sûre, le clip va être haut en couleurs. Des styles différents, des personnalités singulières, 18 filles et 12 garçons, qui joueront dans un manoir n'ayant rien à envier aux classiques du genre ! Un grand merci à tous ceux qui ont participé, et vivement que ça se fasse ! :D

I have to try getting this opportunity, I won't go forward. And if I get it, then things will be easier. With money, everything becomes easier, more possible. I have to get this job. Becuz I need it for the cd, for the flight, becuz I need her even if I try to blind. My friend, we are fucking alive. Remember that after each one of our crashes. We are alive. Today is the birthday of one of my closest friends, XXVII. I wish you to know that you got a big place in my heart even if we don't often get the opportunity to see together those last times. Our brainstorming conversations, our fucking private jokes in the 27-4 level nobody could understand excepted us, our music knowledges exchanges, etc.. Everything lived with you is an engraved stone hidden deep inside my wounded heart. I love you my friend, whatever I do, whatever the time we don't see even if it's for so long. "Don't beg on your knees". I'd always remember. That's what you told to me at one of the worst moments of my life. I never begged on my knees, I carried on my way and look what I've become.. I hope you're proud of me.. Cuz me, I'm proud of you. Proud of the man you became, proud of the musician you'd be on stage, you know I'll be at the firstline when you gonna have your first gig with E. Don't beg on your knees. Voici des mois que mon batteur et ami, Scread, m'avait fait découvrir ce trio français brillant (un screamer, un batteur et un pianiste) à la voix screamo mariée à des mélodies magnifiques. J'y suis revenu par pur hasard aujourd'hui et me dois de vous en parler. Puissant, riche en émotions et écorchures, M.O.P.A. est une perle dans le paysage musical contemporain, véritable noctambule de notre corde sensible, nous hissant aussi haut qu'il peut nous laisser au plus bas, dévasté, suffoquant du souvenir ainsi invoqué, de la moindre larme de rage, du moindre souffle attristé. Il était donc tout à fait normal que je parle d'eux sur ce blog. Excellente continuation et longue route à vous, votre musique transcende l'âme et le coeur. By the way, j'ai commandé leur cd, n'hésitez pas à en faire de même, ils le méritent plus que de raison ! (LEUR MYSPACE OFFICIEL)
ENGLISH TRANSLATION: TIRED and HOPEFUL. Tired, impatient, in love with impossible, tortured. It's never enough and never happens fast enough. I fight day by day against my own condition, I can't satisfy with. So many dreams, needs, wills, to go in Stockholm, London, Lisbon, Berlin, Tokyo, Milan, to play in these cities, de visit it, to come back in Paris to play with my musician friends, to tatoo this graphic I created for so many months, to get pierced, again and again, to ever work on graphism for more bands as I love to do. To help new bands as older to get a graphic universe, this a job of passion and I'd like to create a myspace every two days for bands. I could gain my life like that and feel complete in my artistic life.. The album recording can't wait. To record it, to get a professionnal material, then having the opportunity to share my music I wish with you, illustrate it with a videoclip, to give birth to a second baby, announcing the end of Simplyd4rk-solo-artist-doing-some-home-stuff-in-his-room and the begininng of Simplyd4rk-and-Scread-7th-two-buddies-joined-for-a-same-cause : UNDEAD ROCKSTRIAL ! NO ESCAPE VIDEOCLIP. The casting is almost ended, people selected begin to be contacted. I can't wait for this videoclip ! We record it in an amazing mansion, with professionals of make-up, cameramen, motivated people etc.. It gonna be a really good expericence ! THANK YOU. I'd like to thank people who support my project since the beginning, the other ones who discovered me recently or one year ago when I began to promote my world, Undead Rockstrial. Thank you so much cuz without you, nothing could be possible, nothing would have happened. This way is hard to follow, sometimes it's hard to keep head out of watter cuz musicians aren't helped a lot, but you give me strength to carry on, to write my path in flesh and dust. You know, I have dreams. To cross the world with Scread Seventh, my amazing zombie drummer, come to see all of you and play in front of you, to share this passion and rage sleeping inside of me when I'm not with a mic in the hand, to show you how it is here and now that I feel good. Cuz that's my only way to breathe. To sing and scream in front of people came to dance, jump, and move on our shows. Exténué, impatient, blasé, amoureux de l'inaccessible, torturé. Ce n'est jamais assez et n'arrive jamais assez vite. Je me bats au jour le jour contre ma propre condition, je n'arrive pas à m'en satisfaire. Tant de rêves, tant de besoins et d'envies, de désirs, de lubies d'aller à Stockolm, Londres, Lisbonne, Berlin, Tokyo, Milan, de jouer dans ces villes, de les visiter, de revenir à Paris en compagnie de mes amis musiciens, de me tatouer ce motif que j'ai dessiné depuis tant de mois, de me faire piercer encore et encore, de bosser graphiquement pour toujours plus de groupes comme j'adore le faire. Aider les petits groupes qui démarrent comme les grands à se construire un univers graphique, c'est un métier de passion et j'aimerai pouvoir faire un myspace ne serait-ce que tous les deux jours pour des groupes, ça m'assurerait un cadre de vie et un épanouissement artistique convenable.. L'enregistrement de l'album se fait attendre, il me tarde tant. Enregistrer ce dernier, enfin avoir un objet professionnel qui va me permettre de pouvoir partager ma musique comme je l'entends avec vous, l'illustrer d'un premier clip, donner naissance à un second bébé, annonçant la fin de Simplyd4rk-artiste-solo-bidouillant-dans-sa-chambre-avec-ses-claviers (même si quelque part ça sera toujours le cas ha ha, je les aime mes claviers et ordinateurs x) et le début de Simplyd4rk-et-Scread-Seventh-deux-potes-liés-pour-une-même-cause : L'UNDEAD ROCKSTRIAL ! THIS IS NOT A GIG Le 11 avril prochain, nous serons les invités de ma sista à Clermont-Ferrand. Pas un concert, mais une soirée passée avec les clermontois, où nous passerons du temps avec vous, parlerons de l'album que nous enregistrerons la semaine suivante, etc.. Bref, une soirée entre pote à ne pas manquer, d'autant plus que Franck, le patron du bar "30" fait toutes les consos à 2€ pour l'occaz !!!! :)
WARMTH & ROCK'N ROLL THINGS
Yesterday night was "super cool" as my australian friend Dylan love to say :) We gave a show in my hometown, in a little concert room. There was about 80 persons came to see us (me and my drummer), Post Offense (a friend emocore band from Paris) and Dust Theority (metalcore band from Paris). Not a lot of people, but everyone was motivated to move on our songs, in spite of the amazing warmth of the room (it's a very little room and it was veryyyyyy hot... 40-60°C easily.. O____O), and some technical problems (mic crashes... but we found solutions and carried on our show, that's rock'n roll "routine" xD). Well, I couldn't stop myself as always : jumping and screaming, making the public jumping, claping their hand and singing with me, and I really don't know how I did this, cuz the warmth was struggling me, and I felt really bad at certain times.. But to keep the energy with the ones who came for us, it's ever my only goal ! I hate when people stay static :) After the show, we supported Post Offense, spent time with fans, took pictures, signed dedications, and finally joined back with the other bands in a kind of motel, drinking vodka and speaking 'bout this night. I really appreciated to speak with my friend Djouls (singer in Post Offense), we never met before and it was cool to see him. He's piercer too, and did my two lobes on the left ear just before the show yesterday, freaky cool :p haha !
